Width up top, wings out wide — the oldest silhouette in the book.
The classic look: wide lats, capped shoulders, a back that spreads. This split builds the taper from the wings out — lats first, then the shelf of upper back and shoulders, then the arms that come along for every pull. For anyone who wants to look broader from behind and in the mirror.
Wider backGet strongerA movement milestone
Day 1
Lats are the width. When they grow, your whole outline changes — the taper starts here, with the muscles that spread the back.
Day 2
Upper back thickens the frame and shoulders cap it. Together they draw the top line of the V — the part people notice across a room.
Day 3
Biceps grow on every row and pulldown you do, so we lean into it — direct arm work plus more lat volume, because a wide back deserves arms that match.
