Trust & safety
How Pariter is run
A training community only works if you can trust the workouts, the rooms, and the people. These are the rules the product actually enforces — not aspirations.
How workouts are reviewed
Nothing becomes public without passing an automated quality gate AND a human approval. There is no exception path — an empty shelf beats a mediocre one. Every workout is a creator’s own video, credited, playing through their official player; Pariter never downloads, re-hosts, or strips ads from anyone’s work. Members can report any video, and reports land with a person.
Recording & live rooms
Live rooms are never recorded — there is no recording feature in the product. Cameras and microphones are optional; voice-only and camera-off are first-class ways to be in a room. If recording is ever introduced, it will be opt-in per session for the host, every participant will be told before their camera can be part of it, and no replay could become public without passing the same human review as every workout.
Reporting, blocking, moderation
Block and report are one tap away inside live rooms, and blocks are absolute in both directions — a blocked pair never shares a room, a match list, or a message thread. Rooms carry a code of conduct you accept before your first session. Reports are reviewed by a person with the authority to remove content and accounts.
Privacy by default
Matching never reveals your health details, exact location or measurements to anyone. (Sessions someone is hosting are public to members by design, so matching can show those.) Messaging requires mutual consent first. Your data is yours: the privacy notice explains what is stored, and account export and deletion are self-serve in Settings. Body-mass index is used in exactly one place — refusing to build an unsafe calorie-deficit plan — and never gates programs, matching, or community access.
Accessibility
Pariter aims for WCAG 2.2 AA: full keyboard operation, visible focus, honest selected-state announcements on filters, reduced motion respected everywhere, and captions status surfaced on workouts as the library grows. Found a barrier? Report it from any page footer and it is treated as a defect, not feedback.
What a trainer badge means
Any member can list themselves as a trainer, and everything on that listing — what they specialise in, who they say they teach, what qualifications they say they hold, what they charge — is written by them. It is published as written. Pariter does not check it. Where we have checked something, a line beside the person’s name says in plain words exactly what that check covered. That sentence is the whole claim: it is not a rating, not an endorsement, not an assessment of whether someone is fit to instruct, and never a statement about medical or clinical competence. We do not verify insurance. We take no booking and process no payment. As of today nobody has been verified, because nobody has asked.
Not medical advice
Training and food content on Pariter is general education. It does not diagnose, prescribe, or promise outcomes, and it is not a substitute for a clinician who knows you. The plain-language terms say the rest.
